Briefly: Asia's leading Internet advocate and technology
evangelist, Seamus Phan, takes an in-depth look at how he helped to
set up various Internet and Intranet web sites and servers in Asia for
Human Resource Management and Development (HRM/HRD). And if you are a
training or performance engineering manager, this guide will open a
whole new world of Web-Based Training (WBT) without burning a deep
hole in your budget. Already, WBT development costs are a small
fraction of traditional CBT, and still pack the same delivery
effectiveness.

I've read just about most of the current and older Internet
"volumes" out there, with hundreds of pages of text, and often
obscured by content that should simply have been included on CD-ROMs as
appendices. This e-book seems to do away with all that, and presents just
succinct information, and then includes the template to get the HR
intranet done quickly. The Java applet is a nice touch as an addition to
construct navigational menus.

Briefly: Rather than stick to motivational approaches
("quick-patchers or fixes"), the author uses a synergistic
approach of motivation and implementation. The program has been
implemented in multi-million projects for aviation service companies,
high-tech companies, banks, real estate agencies, and restaurants.

This book will scare the wits out of anybody in the service
industry. The message is clear; if you don't look after your own staff
(or frontliners), they won't look after your customers. And that means
you'll lose market share and risk going out of business. While everybody
talks about service quality, not that many companies practise it on a
routine basis. Seamus Phan's book serves as a sharp reminder of the
basic principles of service quality, and how critical they are to
survival of your business

Briefly: Seamus spoke on how to leapfrog your competition, no
matter how large you are (or how small) or what industry you are in, with
Internet technologies. A fast-paced, engaging and Asia-centric training
delivery that can be taken to work in other geographical areas as well.
Seamus is at his best talking about the "marriage" of Service
Quality and the Internet, as Asia's pioneer in BOTH Service Quality
and the Internet.

My colleague Seamus has surpassed me once again, in this Asian-centric
rendition of bridging a management area such as Service Quality with an
unlikely candidate - the Internet. Seamus has a succinct, clear and
logical approach to everything he does, including this training video,
and his books. Unlike motivational approaches, I personally find Seamus'
approach refreshing and truly educational.
